Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team in Florida seeks a Chauffeur-Driver to transport residents to social activities and other destinations on a scheduled basis. You will assist residents in and out of the vehicle, secure wheelchairs, and ensure safety throughout trips.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of driving experience, with the ability to operate large passenger vehicles and basic on-road maintenance. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years driving experience and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraints.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance and trip inspections.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents’ apartments.
• Assist Resident Experience Department as needed.
• Submit charges to business office daily for travel expenses.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with policies.
• Handle emergencies and basic First Aid.
• Report unsafe conditions to Executive Director.
