Job summary

Charter Senior Living in Florida is seeking a Driver / Transportation Assistant to transport residents safely to appointments, outings, and activities while delivering excellent customer service. The role supports resident engagement and requires a dependable, patient, and safety-focused attitude.

You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, adhere to driving regulations, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is desired.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully.
• Ensure resident comfort and safety during transportation.
• Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation vehicles.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
