Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver CMA CMT for the Day Shift on weekends to support residents in our Springfield community. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management as allowed by state guidelines, and complete progress notes daily.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CMA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
