Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, meals, and mobility. You will manage medications as allowed by state regulations and complete daily progress reports to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
