Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver CMA/CMT for the Springfield, MO area. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication management as allowed by state regulations, and maintaining detailed daily progress notes.

The position supports full-time and part-time schedules with generous benefits. Training and certification updates are provided to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CMA/CMT, CNA license or two years previous experience as a Caregiver, but willing to train.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
