Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Caregiver for our assisted living community. Full-time or part-time shifts available with hourly pay between $17.75 and $18.75, based on experience.

The role focuses on personal care, daily tasks, and enhancing residents’ independence in a respectful, supportive setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining safety, and communicating any changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Desire to work with the elderly and provide care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening required (TB test, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plan.
• Respond promptly to resident needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Notify supervisor of any changes in resident condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for residents and staff.
• Promote teamwork across departments and with co-workers.
