Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in California is hiring a Care Provider - Assisted Living to support residents with daily living activities, including ADLs, mobility, and personal care. The position is full-time with AM/PM/NOC shifts.

You will work with a compassionate team, follow care plans, document changes, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment. Previous experience is welcome but not required; training is provided and commitment to elder care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB).
• Vaccination/health screening may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to resident needs while upholding dignity and safety.
• Report observed changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interaction with staff.
