Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator to oversee caregiving staff, monitor resident care, and coordinate plans and assessments. The role requires supervising care managers and med techs, coordinating new hire processes, and maintaining regulatory compliance with Wellness Director guidance.

You will manage staffing, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate with residents and families while upholding MorningStar standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care supervisory or management preferred.
• Must have medication administration training and first aid certification.
• Strong reading/comprehension of safety and operating manuals.
• Excellent communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule care managers and MCM coverage.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert Wellness Director.
• Maintain Daily Log and document changes.
• Ensure infection control guidelines and PPE availability.
• Develop and update negotiated service plans and assessments.
• Conduct change of condition assessments and meetings.
