Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living seeks an Assisted Living Coordinator in Fort Collins to manage caregiving staff, coordinate resident services, and ensure quality care under regulatory guidelines. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership and collaboration with Wellness Directors and families.

The position requires at least 2 years in health-related leadership in long-term care, with Medication Administration training and a current first aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Must have current Medication Administration training.
• First aid certification required as per license.
• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience in long-term care or assisted living supervisory/management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule care managers and MCM coverage.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert Wellness Director of changes in condition.
• Maintain resident records, Daily Log, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are followed and PPE is stocked.
• Prepare and administer medications according to procedure.
• Develop and maintain resident negotiated service plans and assessments.
• Schedule change of condition assessments and conduct annual plan meetings.
• Communicate with residents and families about care needs and progress.
