Job summary

Compass Senior Living is seeking a full-time Care Partner for day shift. The role requires 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm, including every other weekend. You will support residents with daily living activities and lead engaging activities to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, and light housekeeping, while ensuring clear communication with residents and families. A warm, compassionate attitude is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities.
• Lead and participate in meaningful activities for residents.
• Must obtain food handlers permit if required and help serve meals.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, vendors and the public.
• Come to each shift with a positive attitude and ready to work.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Must have kindness and compassion for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Lead activities to bring joy to residents.
• Assist with meal service and food handling as required.
• Communicate clearly with residents and staff.
• Maintain a positive, reliable presence during shifts.
• Support housekeeping and routine laundry tasks.
• Demonstrate kindness and compassion toward residents.
