Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team is seeking a caring Care Partner to support residents with daily living activities and personal care in a supportive environment. You will assist residents with personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, and accompany them to life enrichment programs, while upholding dignity and privacy.

Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork are essential as you collaborate with Nursing, Health & Wellness, and support staff to meet changing resident needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/Home Health Aide preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must complete all state and Experience Senior Living specified training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living as assigned and per service plan.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and laundry as assigned.
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports, shift change reports and verbal reports.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled life enrichment programs.
• Promote personal choices, independence and spiritual needs as needed.
• Provides verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services as needs change.
• Communicate with the Director of Health & Wellness when resident needs change.
• Communicate with other departments as needs arise during shift.
• Respond to resident pendant/wearable calls promptly.
• Ensure compliance with new resident care needs.
• Maintain infection control practices.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ personal care information.
• Honor residents’ personal and property rights.
• Be prepared for emergencies.
