Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in California is seeking compassionate Care Partners to provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. You will work in a supportive team to create a nurturing environment where residents can thrive.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in caregiving, strong communication, empathy, and a willingness to participate in weekend rotations. Caregiver training and CPR/First Aid certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver training is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Memory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) as needed.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties (making beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
