Job summary

Junction City Retirement & AL is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate elder care in a community setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, offer companionship, help with meals, and support social and recreational activities.

The role requires teamwork, reliable communication in English, and ability to meet licensing or background check requirements. Light housekeeping and collaboration with the Wellness Team are also part of the job.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Good verbal communication and ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor health; observe, document, and report changes to Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support by engaging in conversation and companionship.
• Assist with meals and possibly feed elders needing help.
• Engage elders in social and recreational activities for well-being.
• Communicate with elders, families, team members, and guests.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain cleanliness.
