Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Hillsborough, NC is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a warm, home-like environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, administer medications under supervision, and maintain accurate documentation, while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualified candidates should have CNA certification preferred, a high school diploma or GED, and a compassionate touch when helping seniors.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift, checking on them regularly.
• Observe, report and document resident symptoms and changes in condition.
• Respond to call bells promptly and notify supervisors of increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation of rooms.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Document medication administration and follow six rights with supervision.
• Restock medication cart and keep med room neat and compliant.
