Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Guard to protect the campus, residents, and staff. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling, securing doors, and reporting incidents.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, two years security experience, a valid driver’s license, and first aid certification. California candidates must maintain a security license. Compensation ranges per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years security or related work experience.
• Current state driver’s license and a good driving record.
• First aid certification and emergency medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call system.
• Evaluate need to notify on-call personnel and follow procedures.
• In emergencies, call 911 and coordinate with responders.
• Check and secure security equipment and patrol the campus.
• Check and secure exterior doors in all buildings.
• Be alert for trespassers and enforce campus rules.
• Monitor vehicle traffic and enforce traffic policies.
• Familiarize with campus facilities, equipment, and emergency systems.
• Write and distribute incident reports and maintenance requests.
• Provide non-emergency residential services as needed.
