Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Guard to protect the campus, vehicles, residents, and staff. You will patrol facilities, secure doors, monitor systems, and respond to emergencies on the campus during the security shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma, two years in security, valid driver's license, and first aid certification. Ability to communicate in English and to work with elderly residents is essential. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Two years of security or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• First aid certification and EMT experience preferred.
• Able to read and write English and communicate with staff and residents.
• Ability to work with elderly residents and provide courteous service.
• Must follow oral and written directions and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call system and contact on-call personnel as needed.
• In emergencies, call 911 and coordinate with responders.
• Patrol campus, secure doors, and monitor security equipment.
• Be alert to trespassers and monitor vehicle traffic.
• Maintain knowledge of campus layout, equipment, and safety systems.
• Write incident reports and log safety hazards; submit maintenance requests.
• Provide non-security residential services as needed by leadership.
