Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Director of Facility Operations to oversee maintenance, housekeeping, security and transportation across the community, ensuring high standards of operation and safety while managing budget and vendor contracts.

You will lead preventative maintenance, staff scheduling, and financial reviews, coordinating with vendors to meet regulatory requirements and deliver a safe, comfortable living environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelors/Technical degree in related field.
• Four years maintenance supervision experience.
• HVAC experience or training.
• Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, fire panels and emergency response systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets.
• Manages housekeeping, laundry and transportation services according to policy.
• Oversees total operation and maintenance of the campus to high construction standards.
• Develops vendor relationships and negotiates maintenance contracts.
• Conducts apartment inspections prior to occupancy.
• Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program and work order system.
• Plans and leads housekeeping/laundry operations within legal guidelines.
• Reviews monthly financials and executes action plans for deficiencies.
• Manages staffing and scheduling; ensures vehicle safety and on-time passenger transport.
