Job summary

Inspir Embassy Row in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations of the senior living community. This exempt, on-site role oversees occupancy, financial performance and operational standards to deliver exceptional service to residents.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in senior living management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience in human services management, or nursing home management.
• Must possess 7-10 years of progressive experience in human services management and/or senior living management.
• Pre-leasing and new property pre-opening experience are a plus.
• Must have proven leadership and management skills.
• Experience working with seniors including those with memory care needs.
• Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
• Free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with day-to-day operations of the community including occupancy and financial performance.
• Plan, develop, implement, evaluation and improvement of all operational standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and professional service to all residents.
