Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Programming/Activity Assistant to organize and implement programs that meet the emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual needs of our residents, while promoting self-esteem in a nurturing environment. You will support the Activity Director in all programming efforts.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring approach to elder residents.
• Knowledge of recreational activities and dementia care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an engaging seven-day activity program.
• Lead one-on-one, small group and large group activities.
• Encourage and motivate resident participation in programming.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the Harbor Care Director.
• Stay with group during excursions.
