Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Programming Coordinator in Walpole, MA to organize and implement programs for residents, addressing their psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. You will support and assist in all programming, working to enhance residents' experiences with a caring, nurturing environment.

The role requires coordinating events, maintaining a robust activity calendar, and collaborating with families and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aging and dementia knowledge.
• Ability to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons with dementia.
• Flexible schedule; weekend and holiday availability.
• CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, implement and evaluate community programming to enhance resident experience.
• Oversee scheduling of events, trips, meetings, rooms, and group functions.
• Develop, promote, coordinate and oversee community events.
• Edit, produce and distribute a monthly community newsletter.
