Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs for elders and disabled individuals.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding residents and staff.
• Shows a positive attitude and works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of an engaging activity program.
• Leads and implements one-on-one, small group, and large group activities.
• Encourages residents to participate in programming and activities.

Skills

Recreational activities training

Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and related dementias

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks

Education

High school diploma or equivalent experience
