Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC in Danvers is seeking a compassionate Programming/Activity Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will organize and implement activity programs to meet the psychological and social needs of our residents, fostering a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, knowledge of recreational activities, and experience with Alzheimer’s care. You will be responsible for leading engaging activities and supporting residents’ independent pursuits.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs for elders and disabled individuals.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding residents, staff, and community.
• Demonstrates knowledge about residents' individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing engaging activity programs.
• Leads one-on-one and group activities according to the programming schedule.
• Communicates changes in residents' conditions to the Harbor Care Director.
