Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with small and large groups.
• Knowledge of care needs of the elderly and/or chronically ill.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating residents' backgrounds, interests, abilities, and needs to develop meaningful activities.
• Maintain records of attendance and participation; complete written records and charts.
• Maintain a list of residents unable or unwilling to participate and track participation.
• Develop and post monthly activities calendar and coordinate with other services.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of progress toward activity plan goals.
• Facilitate monthly resident council meetings and provide a forum for advocacy and participation.
