Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living environment strongly preferred.
• Two years’ experience in activities strongly preferred.
• Must have a driving license and willingness to drive a passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Resident Programs team with planning, developing, and preparing a variety of exercises and events.
• Provides transportation for residents and medical transportation when needed.
• Keeps knowledge of local services and events and includes them in activity schedules.
• Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff.
• Promotes teamwork and monitors activities with other disciplines as necessary.
• Evaluates activity quality and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned
