Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Willow Glen is seeking an experienced Senior Living Active Living Program Director to develop and oversee a vibrant activities program that enriches residents' social, physical, and intellectual lives. You will lead planning, vendor coordination, and community partnerships to create engaging events and meaningful experiences for seniors.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with families, and ongoing program innovation to support residents’ well-being and happiness

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Three years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of social activity leadership preferred.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Activities: plan, coordinate, and participate in a variety of social events to provide an active community life for residents.
• Engage residents, families, and the community in activities that promote socialization and physical activity.
• Align with external organizations and vendors to deliver quality programs and volunteerism.
• Manage calendars, communications, and resources for the Lifestyle Department.
• Supervise Active Living staff and/or volunteers and monitor budgets.

Education
