Job summary

Merrill Gardens is hiring for an Active Living Assistant/Driver to support seniors in our community. You will help design and lead activities, coordinate family events, and maintain a caring, professional presence with residents and staff.

The role emphasizes memory care transitions, daily ADLs support, and a commitment to enriching residents’ wellness journeys. Training provided; wage access available with Advance Pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with activities coordination or senior living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement activities with the Active Living Program Director.
• Lead or deliver program activities in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate at least one family activity per month.
• Present a professional demeanor reflecting the company’s service philosophy.
• Observe residents’ daily living activities and communicate needs to the team.
• Encourage and motivate residents across activities and social engagement.
• Participate in all employer trainings.
• Cover Activities staff duties in their absence.
