Merrill Gardens at Bankers Hill is hiring an Active Living Assistant/Driver to support residents with activities and daily living care. You will design and run programs, lead activities, and coordinate monthly family events in a supportive senior living community.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to observe and assist with ADLs while promoting dignified care. Prior senior living experience is preferred and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Prefer social activity involvement.

Aufgaben

• Develop Activities: design and implement activities suitable for residents transitioning from AL to Memory Care.
• Deliver, lead, or conduct program activities in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate at least one family activity per month.
• Present a professional demeanor reflecting service and resident care.
• Observe residents’ daily ADLs and social skills; communicate needs to the team.
• Encourage and motivate residents in all areas; assist as needed.
• Participate in all employer training.
• Replace Activities staff in their absence.
