Job summary

Sumter Senior Living in The Villages, FL seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support activities programming and resident engagement, including driving residents on excursions and helping decorate for events.

You will work with the Life Enrichment Director, deliver friendly, professional activities, and assist with weekend, evening, and holiday events while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Physical ability to bend, stand, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Administers/assists in activity programming from inception to execution.
• Follow established standards per state regulations and company policies.
• Maintain confidential documentation of resident needs and issues.
• Communicate resident feedback to Life Enrichment Director.
• Chauffeur residents for excursions and church runs.
• Attend weekend, evening, and holiday functions when necessary.
• Assist in decorating the community for holidays and events.
• Participate in and support resident-centered activity programs.
