IVY PARK AT BURBANK, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks an Activity Director to lead engaging programs for residents, coordinating sessions, excursions, and special events. The role focuses on promoting independence and quality of life within a five-star senior living environment.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and promoting activities while guiding staff and volunteers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires valid Class C license with Passenger Endorsement (Class B preferred).
• Minimum one year of experience planning activities and evaluating resident needs.
• Prefer one year supervising employees and volunteers.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to operate a PC.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide a creative social atmosphere and promote resident participation in activities and events.
• Lead activities and encourage resident participation in excursions and special events.
• Recruit, develop, and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and volunteers.
• Maintain a safe environment following established standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure coverage.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
