Job summary

Cogir Senior Living, a Scottsdale-based operator of senior housing, seeks a Resident Lifestyle Director (Activity Director) to lead a comprehensive life-enrichment program for residents across our communities. You will plan, organize, and coordinate activities that support physical, mental, and social well-being while partnering with staff and leadership to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors.
• Leadership experience in senior living or healthcare management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life-enrichment activities and programs for residents.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, and exercise activities.
• Prepare monthly newsletters and activity calendars.
• Hire, train, and supervise activity staff and drivers.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate transportation to off-site events.
