Job summary

Ivy Park at Milpitas, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks an Activity Director to craft a rich social atmosphere and engage residents through creative programs, events, and excursions while coordinating with staff and volunteers.

Requirements include a 21+ age, high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and at least one year of activity planning experience; MS Office proficiency and ability to drive community vehicles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires current Class C license (or Class B) with Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide an engaging, rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation through high-quality activities and events.
• Lead and actively participate in residents’ activities and encourage participation in excursions and special events.
• Recruit, develop, manage and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.
