Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Director to oversee programming, scheduling, budgeting, and promotion of activities across our senior living Community. The role focuses on enriching residents’ daily life and independence while aligning with the company’s mission and values.

You will actively lead activities, manage Activity Assistants and volunteers, and coordinate with other departments to ensure engaging experiences in a safe setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires current Class C license; Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Minimum one year of activity planning and resident needs evaluation experience.
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, weekends, and extra shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative, engaging activities and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.
• Lead and participate in activities, encouraging resident participation across events.
• Recruit, supervise, and schedule Activity Assistants and volunteers.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments; operate community vehicles when needed.
