Job summary

Oak Park Place in Wisconsin is seeking an Activity Assistant to support residents through organized recreational and social events, with a focus on promoting regular socialization and physical activity. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday 3pm-7pm and every other weekend 8am-4:30pm, offering a chance to contribute to a caring senior living community.

• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in an activity's role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and execute a well-balanced activity program.
• Lead and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games.
• Generate positivity and encourage resident participation.
• Work with all departments to ensure resident needs are being met.
• Assess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly.
