You will plan, lead, and participate in group events and one-on-one activities, helping residents stay connected and engaged while ensuring safety and comfort.

You’ll document participation, assess progress, and collaborate with the care team to meet state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; state regulations may require certification.
• Energy, creativity, and excellent communication are essential.
• Genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and performing tasks safely.
• Adhere to Patient Bill of Rights and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading Engagement Activities: plan, organize, and facilitate group events and one-on-one sessions.
• Building Connections: encourage participation and form meaningful relationships with residents.
• Ensuring Safety & Comfort: assist residents to and from activities maintaining a safe environment.
• Documenting & Assessing: track participation, record progress, and conduct assessments per guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Team: support residents and teammates as needed.
