Qualifications

• High school graduate with state-certified Activity Director credentials.
• Demonstrates creativity and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience developing and implementing resident care plans.
• Ability to plan, organize, and run activities that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Document Activity Programs: maintain records of programs and resident participation with progress toward care goals.
• Conduct Resident Assessments: perform activity histories and assessments per state and federal standards.
• Coordinate Communication: publish monthly calendars of events and newsletters to inform residents and families.
• Build Volunteer Engagement: develop and maintain an active volunteer program to support activities.
