Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in League City, TX seeks an activities coordinator for full-time, hourly pay. You will assist the Resident Experience Director in planning engaging activities that enhance residents' quality of life, coordinate events, and promote social interaction. A valid driver's license and background clearance are required.

This role emphasizes scheduling, resident engagement, and community involvement, with a focus on safe transportation and program delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and programs for residents, families, and staff.
• Good verbal communication skills to give directions clearly.
• Ability to promote activities and enlist support from facility team.
• Evaluate residents' needs and adjust programming.
• Respond respectfully to concerns; communicate with Administrator as needed.
• Represent the Community positively.
• Current and valid state driver’s license; must be at least 26 for driving.
• Pass criminal background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist RED in planning and providing activities supporting residents' quality of life.
• Follow the Calendar of Events and promote active social environment.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile for each resident.
• Support the Better Health program to meet wellness needs.
• Meet new residents and families and encourage participation.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and submit monthly needs.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of holiday party events.
• Operate and drive the community bus for outings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
