Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Millbrae, CA, is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in creating engaging enrichment activities for residents. You will help design, facilitate, and coordinate daily programs that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.

The role requires 6–12 months of relevant experience with seniors, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors, leading life enrichment activities
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans
• Maintain composure in stressful situations and treat residents with respect and dignity
• Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings
• Lead or assist with group and individual activities, exercise, outings
• Facilitate games, conversations, art, music, and special events
• Support coordination of the monthly newsletter
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes
• Review goals and progress notes
• Assist in decorating for events and holidays
• Coordinate external trips and ensure resident safety during outings
• Assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as needed
