Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Aide to plan and assist with engaging recreational activities for seniors in a welcoming environment.

You will support daily programs, encourage participation, and help create meaningful moments that enhance well-being and social interaction for residents. Training is available for motivated candidates and a caring, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service preferred, but training is available.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.
