Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Kearney, NE is seeking an Activities Supervisor for long-term care to create and implement resident activities and events. You will lead activity staff schedules, coordinate volunteers, and contribute to resident care plans centered on meaningful activities.

Responsibilities include administering the monthly activity calendar, seeking resident input, and supporting therapies and activities that promote dignity, well‑being, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years experience in this field preferred.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• CNA certification or student in healthcare field preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements resident activities and events.
• Manages activity staff schedules and coordinates volunteer staffing.
• Creates and reviews resident care plans around activities.
• Completes activity assessments and MDS questions as required.
• Assists with simple nursing procedures and transporting residents.
