Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE seeks a long-term care Activities Supervisor to create and implement resident activities and events. You will manage activity staff, coordinate volunteers, and align activities with resident care plans while reporting to leadership and maintaining a positive, engaging atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and at least one year of leadership experience, with CNA/BLS credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years experience in this field preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities.
• Minimum of one year leadership/management experience preferred.
• Current CNA certification or enrollment; BLS preferred.
• Therapeutic recreation specialist certification or approval preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement resident activities and events.
• Manage activity staff schedules and coordinate volunteers.
• Maintain resident care plans around activities.
• Administer monthly activity calendar and gather resident input.
• Assist with simple nursing procedures and transport residents as needed.
