Veranda Club in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Director of Activities & Transportation to develop and lead a vibrant lifestyle program for residents, promoting health, wellness, and active aging across all service levels. You will oversee transportation services, manage a team of Activities Coordinators, and ensure programming aligns with regulatory requirements.

The role reports to the community leadership and requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree not always required; associate is preferred but relevant experience matters.
• Experience planning and leading lifestyle programming for seniors.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff and volunteers.

Mansioni

• Plan, schedule, and facilitate lifestyle programs for residents across physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
• Organize and lead holiday celebrations and community events.
• Publish monthly activity calendar and community newsletter.
• Maintain partnerships with external organizations and contractors.
• Oversee transportation services and supervise Transportation staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing senior living programming.
