Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Dover, Delaware seeks an Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support and assist the Life Enrichment Director in creating and implementing a diverse calendar of resident programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living units.

The role involves leading multiple daily activities, surveying residents to tailor offerings, coordinating with the program team, and promoting participation to ensure high resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and time management abilities with reliability
• Experience planning and conducting activities for seniors
• Ability to engage seniors and coordinate with teams
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing activity programs
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day for IL and AL residents
• Survey residents to tailor activities to interests and wellness goals
• Coordinate calendars, supplies, and events with the program team
• Engage residents and families to promote participation and satisfaction
• Document records and assist in resident council meetings
• Arrange programming areas and supervise volunteers
