Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Suffolk, Virginia seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, facilitating, and implementing a wide variety of meaningful programs for our Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will help plan a monthly activity calendar, organize supplies, and coordinate events, outings, and resident activities, while promoting resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience planning programs and activities for seniors preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating and implementing a wide variety of programs for IL and AL neighborhoods.
• Assist in developing and implementing a monthly program calendar based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6–7 high quality programs per day and promote participation.
• Coordinate with the program team to organize calendars, events, and outings.
• Recruit, coordinate and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Arrange transportation and assist with scheduling and setup for activities.
