Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant in Newark, Delaware to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, implementing a broad calendar of meaningful programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents, including safe van transportation.

You will coordinate with the program team, promote resident participation, maintain records, and help recruit volunteers while staying flexible and compassionate toward seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years experience desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging, and have a passion for working with seniors.
• Experience organizing and planning programs and activities.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing programs for IL and AL neighborhoods.
• Provide van transportation to residents for groceries, shopping, and activities.
• Develop monthly activity calendars based on wellness dimensions and Harmony programs.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a volunteer program for activities.
• Maintain records, mileage logs, and supplies; ensure van maintenance and safety.
