Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred; geriatrics experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred or currently enrolled in a healthcare program.
• BLS required; CPR training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers the monthly activity calendar.
• Regularly elicits patients/residents input into activity planning and keeps activities organized and upbeat.
• Assists with simple nursing procedures and transporting patients/residents.
• Maintains MDS/EPIC documentation where applicable.
• Demonstrates leadership, problem solving, and teamwork to support residents.
