Job summary

Skyline Retirement Community, Inc. is seeking a Lifestyles Manager to plan and lead outings, coordinate activities, and oversee seasonal displays across all care levels. You will manage records, stock, and supply needs while guiding a diverse team in a fast-paced elder-care setting.

The role requires a CTRS/ADC certification or equivalent, First Aid, dementia training, and CPR within 30 days of hire. Join us in delivering engaging programs that support residents’ well-being and joy.

Qualifications

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Activity professional certification (CTRS or ADC) required.
• First aid, dementia and mental health training, HIV/AIDS training, food handler’s card and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of regulations specific to activities for older adults.
• Ability to manage budgets and supervise staff during daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and attend outings and off-site activities for residents across all three levels of care.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of Terraces activity and storage areas.
• Coordinate purchase, organization, and display of seasonal decorations across floors.
• Maintain records of assessments and MDS-related reports with timely submission.
• Lead and facilitate classes and activities for diverse older adult population.
• Develop new events and programs for Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living floors.
• Meet visiting entertainers and vendors and help them set up for programs.
• Provide engagement for residents living with dementia and adapt techniques accordingly.
• Promote teamwork and a culture of excellence within the Lifestyle team.
