Transforming Age Skyline at First Hill is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Seattle to enrich residents’ daily lives through engaging lifestyle programs. You will support the Terraces Lifestyle Manager in delivering activities that promote health, wellbeing and growth, with a welcoming, hospitality-driven approach.

The role offers competitive hourly pay ($23–$25 DOE) and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and conduct lifestyle programs for residents.
• Attend community events and coordinate events from start to finish.
• Plan programs for holidays and special events.
• Execute the events calendar as directed by the Director/Coordinator.
• Distribute community newsletters.
• Maintain ongoing communication with residents and families as needed.
• Assist wellness program leadership.
• Engage with residents, guests, and staff with hospitality.
• Protect resident privacy in oral and written communications.

Job Overview

We have an amazing opportunity for a Skyline - Activities Coordinator to join our team! The pay for this role is $23 - $25 per hour DOE. The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Terraces Lifestyle Manager in providing activities, programs and opportunities for residents who live in the Assisted Living Community that promote a level of health, wellbeing, engagement, and growth. Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, scheduling and conducting lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents.
• Attends all community planned functions and coordinates event from beginning to end including setup, facilitation and breakdown for the event.
• Helps plan appropriate programs for holidays and special events.
• Implements the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director/Coordinator.
• Helps distribute community newsletter.
• Provides ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members.
• Assists Manager in leadership of wellness program.
• Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality.
• Protects the privacy of the resident when communication oral and written information.
• Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English) and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
• First Aid and/or CPR training may be required in certain state/local jurisdictions.
• Completion of a background screen.
• Additional screening such as drug screen, physical, fingerprint, and/or TB test may be required per state/local guidelines.
