Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily activities and enrichment programs for residents in North Caldwell, New Jersey. You will encourage participation, prepare calendars and newsletters, and escort residents to programs while maintaining organized spaces.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead small groups. A valid driver’s license may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
