Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfield, NJ, is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring joy, purpose, and connection to residents. You will help lead daily activities, coordinate events, and support enrichment programs to enhance resident well-being.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead small groups. Valid driver's license may be required; previous senior living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs
• Encourage and support resident participation
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately
• Create meaningful experiences that enhance resident well-being and strengthen community connections
