Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking an Activities Assistant to support daily events and enrichment programs for residents. You will help create engaging calendars, assist with newsletters, and encourage participation across activities.

Responsibilities include leading small group activities, escorting residents to programs, maintaining organized spaces, and supporting volunteer partnerships. A High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's license are preferred; prior senior living

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver\'s license where applicable.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
